Emerald Ark is a UK registered charity (No. 1135263) established to raise funds to support work in Mozambique, principally the Cabo Delgado province.All funds raised directly support projects designed to meet the principal needs of the local population, to alleviate suffering, to bring hope and improved quality of life, both physical and spiritual.   

 Emerald Ark works in partnership  with A Arca de Esperanca {The Ark of Hope}, a Mozambican registered organisation. Gillian Harris, from the UK, is Director of this organization. She has been resident in Mozambique since 1994.
